These trainers size 4 for active toddlers aged 12 to 15 months old are really cute with a lovely little bear design. They look like they have everything I would be looking for in a toddler shoe. They provide a comfortable fit in length and width, with plenty of room in the toe box. The shoe is flexible in the front and stiff in the back. It has a flexible flat sole with flex grooves that bends well near the toe and the toes are protected by a toe bumper which is really important when taking their first steps. They are made from breathable mesh and provide good support. The shoe opens wide for ease to put on and off with a hook and loop design Velcro closure that can be adjusted for the right fit. The lining feels well padded. At £13.99 at the time of writing this review, it is reasonably priced for a quality and cute little pair of shoes.

The round toe provides an additional barrier protecting the child's feet from injuries. Wide in the toes, they do not cause compression, which is recommended by orthopedists. The Velcro construction makes it easy to put on and take off the shoes. When putting them on, make sure the heel fits well on the foot. The center of the shoe is contoured so that the foot is nicely aligned and not squeezed. Certainly, it will also prevent flatfoot thanks to these profiles. I would rate the quality as a big plus - the shoes are soft, they bend easily, so the child has no problems with walking as they do not burden the legs. The first walking shoes will be perfect for walks and for daycare or kindergarten. The foot breathes, it does not sweat. I recommend.

At first glance these appear sturdy and, to be fair, your child is going to grow out of this size shoe before they wear it out anyway. However, the pair I received had stitching around the tongue coming loose straight out of the packaging. It's clear once you handle these that they are cheaply made. I'm not sure they are worth £15.99 at time of review. They don't appear so to me. The inner soles are nicely padded though and the sole is both sturdy and flexible at the same time which is important for an infant's shoe.

Really nice set of little trainers. These are well made, no bad stitching, etc. but finish could be better around the tongue. The soul has cuts in it to help child with steps by making it more flexible and easier to bend. I always look for that in shoes for our little one as otherwise he walks in them as if he didn’t have any ankles! Made that mistake last winter with too stiff insulated wellies! Toe protector is a must so I’m glad that it is present on these trainers. Especially in white! Not only for when they kick their toes on things but also to protect the shoe itself when they drag their toes on the ground when crawling, etc Colours are pleasant, very light, summery. The mesh is breathable, padding is thick. Probably best for late spring, before summer and sandals take over! The inside of the shoe is also soft and the insert feels like nice bit of foam, so should mould to your child’s foot. Velcro fastening is best for this age group in my opinion, it attaches strongly and stays in place. I couldn’t find any washing instructions though, but I think these should be fine on a delicate cold wash if needed.

These little sneakers are well made, lightweight, flexible, and feel durable, with a decent quality sole. I ordered the two-tone pink, which looks lovely. I particularly like the attention to detail with the little bear's heads on the Velcro straps. Overall, a lovely pair of reasonably priced, well-fitting first walking shoes/sneakers.
