Lovely wellies for splashing about – waterproof, sturdy, and the handles make them so easy for little ones to pull on themselves (hooray for independence!). Perfect for muddy parks and rainy school runs. Only dropped a star as they come up a tiny bit stiff at first, but they softened after a few wears. These wellies fit true to size, with a wider ankle fit for thicker and larger socks. They are comfortable and durable and my child loves wearing them. The design is also really fun, my 6 year old likes the more realistic dinosaur look, and thinks they're "cool" and not too babyish for a 6 year old. So far they have lasted well. They also came with an extra set of foot pads for the inside which you know these boots always lose the pads when they step in and out of them so many times! The shark is adorable it looks 3D and the inside lining material is soft! I love the handles for pulling on which is better for toddlers. The color is beautiful in the shark is so cute! I'd say the size is perfect I ordered an 11 which is what my grandson takes in 11 and they're a little bit bigger than an 11 sneaker for sure but only a tad bit bigger. I'm hoping they don't cause irritation on the back of his calves I was trying to get a lower boot but this one looks like it's about the same height as the other ones he has that rub against his calf. All in all it was a good buy they for one of the least expensive in the bottoms have good traction to not cheap slippery plastic with no traction they're made of real rubber! Highly recommend!!
